At the very heart of Road Warriors HQ is our used parts grading system. We have immense pride in our ability to grade our parts honestly, often surpassing our customers expectations. This page explains what to expect from each of our grades, explaining by general description as well as what to expect from the materials involved.

Description: Mint Boxed and complete. Sealed within Original packaging.

Description: An unused gem, with maybe some light markings due to lack of packaging.

Description: Light signs of wear and a few blemishes. Likely been temporarily on & off a ride or two but these parts are still destined to be homed on something long term.
Function: Functions as factory intends.
Metal Aesthetic:Light scratching, only unobvious scaring and light oxidising.
Plastic Aesthetic: Light UV discolouration. Corners or edges may show rubbing wear.
Rubber Aesthtic: Good.
Leather Aesthetic: Good, with storage and or riding scuffing, but the surface all in tact.
Glass Aesthetic: Good, possible light scuffing, clouding or staining.
Wiring Aesthetic: Good.
Category: Steadily Used
Description: More significant signs of wearing and imperfections on these indicate a mid term use on a build but they have a whole second life ready and waiting in them.
Function: Functions as factory intends.
Metal Aesthetic:Scratching/scaring on show and general oxidising.
Plastic Aesthetic: Very Good.
Rubber Aesthtic: UV discolouration. Corners or edges may show rubbing wear.
Leather Aesthetic: Good, with storage and or riding scuffing, possible small tears or fraying around seams/stress points.
Glass Aesthetic: Good, possible light scuffing, clouding or staining.
Wiring Aesthetic: Good, possibly light oxidation to end connections.
Category: Well Used
Description:As steadily used, but with stronger signs of wear and tear. Likely had a full life on a build, but have been treated very well and looked after.
Function: Functions as factory intends likely with shorter life span.
Metal Aesthetic:Scratching/scaring on show and general oxidising.
Plastic Aesthetic: UV discolouration. Corners, edges and surface areas may show rubbing wear. Possible light, non-integral cracks or deeper scratches.
Rubber Aesthtic: Rider impressions. Ends and edges may be worn or frayed.
Leather Aesthetic: Impressions and scuffing visually evident,with possible tears or fraying around seams/stress points.
Glass Aesthetic: Obvious scuffing, clouding or staining without affetcing visual performance.
Wiring Aesthetic: Good, possibly light oxidation to end connections.
Category: Very Well Used
Description:It will get you from A to B for a while & probably turn heads, but you know it could be a short term fix.Â
Function: Functions as factory intends likely with a more significantly shorter life span.
Metal Aesthetic:Heavy Scratching, very obvious and possibly deep scaring on show or heavily oxidised.
Plastic Aesthetic: UV discolouration. Corners, edges and surface areas may show rubbing wear. Obvious non-integral cracks or deeper scratches.
Rubber Aesthtic: Shows signs of deteriorating, but not perished yet or rubber has perished but is not integral to performance.
Leather Aesthetic: Well worn with rider impressions and scuffing visually evident. Possible larger tears or fraying around seams/stress points.
Glass Aesthetic: Scuffing, clouding or staining that may interfer with comfortable function- eg something that obstructs view partially or similar.
Wiring Aesthetic: Likely to have oxidised ends or connectors, but plenty of metals left to perfrom.
